Automated groups using large language models were generating and distributing propaganda content at scale, lowering the cost of production and distribution. NATO needed a systematic way to identify hostile campaigns and the coordinated groups behind them, particularly on Telegram.
Osavul's technology delivered broad coverage of hostile-actor activity, especially on Telegram, and automated the identification of campaigns against NATO and the coordinated groups behind them — feeding into the publicly available Virtual Manipulation Brief, produced in partnership with NATO StratCom COE.
